At Woodside Primary Academy, the history education provides children with a range of experiences and learning opportunities to gain extensive knowledge and understanding of people, events and contexts from a range of historical periods both locally and internationally. We will look at key concepts and find similarities and differences between historical eras: How have the different eras impacted each other? What links can be made to then and now? And how have the events and decisions in history influenced modern life?  Like in all foundation subjects, significant levels of originality, imagination or creativity, are shown in their responses to their learning in History.
